MacNanny stores all of your data internally as part of the application. You can make a complete backup of the MacNanny application by dragging it to another disk to safeguard your data. Or, you can use the backup and restore options.
When you select the Backup item from the File menu, you will be asked to enter a file name for the backup file (see Figure 16).

You can then enter a name and click Save. MacNanny will then backup all of the data you entered to your backup file.
If you should need to restore your data, select the Restore option from the File menu. MacNanny displays a caution dialog warning you that your current data will be destroyed if you continue with the restore (see Figure 17). If you need to restore your data, click OK.

If you decide to proceed with the restore, you will be asked to select your backup data file (see Figure 18).

Once you find your backup data file, click Open and MacNanny will restore your data.
